Holiday Decorating

I was attempting to get a good photo for the holiday cards. I thought it would be really neat to get Ella's first experience with lights on camera and although they were cute, we didn't end up using any of them for the card.

Baby Lauren's Shower

We drove into Houston to help throw the baby shower for Baby Lauren and Shelly. We are so excited to meet her soon! She is due on Ella's birthday. Ella was a pretty good sport as she napped during the bulk of the shower. She made it up in time to say hello to everyone and hang out with Casey for a while.

Uncle Trey came into town to help me rip up the old carpet and lay new tile in the living room while Kevin was working. Aunt Michelle was nice enough to entertain Miss Ella for hours and hours that Saturday! We love it and we're finally rid of that yucky carpet! Here's the before and after....

Exploring the Front Yard

It was a great evening to be exploring the grass and leaves. Ella crawled all over the yard and found all sorts of interesting things to explore.
